Hi I’m Elin, a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep. I grew up in Devon in the UK. I’m a graduate of the University of Cambridge, where I studied Natural Sciences (Biological). I loved my subject and was awarded a first class grade on my final year Literature Review Essay. I’ve since been accepted onto a Masters Degree (MSc) course at Imperial College London to study Computational Ecology. I would love to help other students get to their dream university as I was able to.
I have ample tutoring and teaching experience. At school, I tutored younger students to help them with their Maths GCSE exams, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I then later volunteered as a teaching assistant in GCSE Astronomy classes, helping students with their coursework and helping them understand key concepts.
At Cambridge, I took on extra responsibilities. For example, I was the University Mountaineering Club Gear Secretary, responsible for looking after and hiring out the club’s climbing gear. I also joined the Plant Sciences Department Equality and Diversity Committee, and attended meetings with senior university figures.
In my spare time, I love climbing, both indoors and outdoors, as well as other sports such as rugby and running. I also love reading and writing fiction – I’m currently trying to write a book!
