Fas Lebbie is a Graduate Coach and seasoned education leader who brings a rare combination of elite academic research, systems-level design thinking, and high-impact tech industry experience to his admissions counseling. Fas earned his PhD in Transition Design from CMU, where he spent over five years teaching graduate-level design courses and mentoring students through highly competitive academic pathways.
Fas’s extensive academic and advisory career spans premier institutions globally. Across his work at CMU, MIT GOV/LAB, SFK International College of Arts, and Njala University, he has successfully advised more than 200 students on graduate applications, personal statements, portfolio development, interview preparation, and comprehensive candidacy building. He brings a vibrant international perspective to his coaching, having taught and mentored students across the United States, China, and Sierra Leone. Complementing his deep academic roots is his extensive professional industry experience at major organizations including Meta, Consumer Reports, and PTC, giving him firsthand insight into what top-tier employers and applied graduate programs look for in a candidate.
