My name is Kathryn, and I am a recent Law graduate from the University of Oxford. Since I began my own application journey in 2015, I have developed a sense of excitement surrounding admissions to university. The best day of my life so far was when I received my acceptance letter, and I would like to help as many other students experience this amazing feeling as possible.
I have a strong background in admission mentoring. I have mentored one student on a weekly basis from the age of 17 onwards, supporting her through her AS-Levels, A-Levels, and university applications. This mentee was successful in all of her university applications, including her application to the University of Oxford. I have also worked inside an admissions charity, helping to create a network of hundreds of mentoring relationships.
I have delivered numerous presentations to school students about the UK application process across the country and I also have first-hand experience in the admissions process through my role of Academic Affairs Officer at my university college. This managerial role involved working behind the scenes and ensuring that the logistics of interviews ran smoothly.
As a result of all of the above, I have gathered a strong sense of what is required in an application and what makes one shine. I am able to offer tuition to students of any age, and you don’t need to be set on studying Law to benefit from my sessions. My ethos, however, is clear: I will give you the tools and information for you to create an outstanding application yourself.
