Megan Di Russo is a Graduate Coach at InGenius Prep. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with Honors, from Stanford University, along with a Notation in Cultural Rhetoric, as a recipient of the Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholarship for Public Service. Before transferring to Stanford, she completed her Associate of Arts in Psychology at the Miami Dade Honors College.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Megan is a proud daughter of Cuban and Argentinean parents. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and values the power of language in building connections and telling meaningful stories. As a first-generation college student, Megan deeply understands the challenges—and triumphs—of navigating the college admissions process without a roadmap. Her own journey has fueled her passion for mentorship and advocacy for all students who feel overwhelmed by the process. Megan brings a student-centered approach to her work, helping applicants tell their stories with authenticity, guided by their goals and identities.
Her academic and professional path has also led her to focus on the U.S. carceral system—working as a research and prisoners’ rights intern in spaces that engage directly with incarcerated populations and criminal justice reform. Her work has included supporting legal aid efforts, contributing to research on community-based programming, and analyzing the social and racial dimensions of incarceration.
Whether advocating for equity in education or justice reform, Megan is committed to empowering others to access opportunities that once felt out of reach. She is guided by a deep curiosity to learn both about and from the people around her, and she brings that same openness to her work with students. As a Graduate Coach, Megan supports applicants as they navigate the college admissions process—and to make the journey as meaningful, empowering, and even fun as possible!
