Hello! I am a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep, based in London, United Kingdom. I received my undergraduate degree in Law from the University of the West Indies and thereafter obtained my Legal Education Certificate at law school. I worked as an Adjunct Tutor and Lecturer for the law faculty of my alma mater for two years, teaching undergraduate students how to develop good legal skills and eventually began working with many of these students on getting to the next level. This involved reviewing several applications, conducting interview preparation and working with students to get into their dream schools. After being called to the Bar, I had personal experience with successful applications to several highly ranked universities and receiving several scholarship offers including the 2020 Rhodes Scholarship to study at the University of Oxford. Last year I completed my masters in law and currently, I am pursuing an MBA with a specific focus on business finance.
My past work experiences include the mentorship of students with ages ranging from 13–25. I enjoy challenges and especially enjoy helping students dream big and achieve goals beyond those dreams. Whether this is the school, scholarship or industry they choose to pursue, I am passionate about ensuring my students and mentees can fulfill their full potential. I focus on the complete picture looking at the development of lifelong skills, enjoyment of the process, and future career prospects. By paying proper attention to every area, I aim to ensure that students can set good short-term and long-term goals to set them up for a long successful, and fulfilling academic life and career. I thoroughly enjoyed my undergraduate and graduate studies and hope to help others in making the most of these experiences whilst still achieving great success.
Outside of work I am an avid swimmer, water polo player, musician, and gym goer! I love watching comedies and acting in plays as well. You can find me anywhere between a fun night out on the town or a weekend trip to Europe as I enjoy adventures and traveling. I have coached sports teams and academic teams in global competitions as well and enjoy guiding students through the development of new ideas such as entrepreneurship projects given my business background. I also give back by mentoring young people in underrepresented groups towards achieving big goals for themselves and their communities.
