Victor Ticllacuri is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep with expertise in medical robotics and neuroengineering. He received his BSC in Biomedical Engineering from the joint program at the Pontifical Catholic University and Cayetano Heredia University in Peru, graduating as the top student in the program’s inaugural class. Victor is currently pursuing his MSE in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, with a focus on Medical Robotics and Neuronegineering. His graduate research at the Neuroengineering Lab involves developing soft robotics devices for medical applications.
His research experience includes leading the development of a soft robotic suit for newborns with brachial plexus palsy and implementing a soft robotic fingertip for underwater object manipulation. He has also contributed to research on intravascular insertion of soft robotic-based catheters.
Victor has a strong background in biomechanics and biorobotics, with previous research experience in developing soft robotic devices for muscle rehabilitation and simulation software for mechanical ventilators. Beyond research, Victor has experience as a Teaching Assistant and Project Advisor at Pontifical Catholic University, instructing in various engineering and mathematics courses.
Victor’s academic achievements include graduating top of his class, receiving research grants, and being recognized for his work in engineering and innovation. He is also an author of several biomedical engineering publications. As a Graduate Coach, Victor brings his specialized knowledge and research experience to guide and support students pursuing degrees in biomedical engineering and related fields.
