Hello! I’m a GRE tutor with InGenius Prep, based in Beijing. I have been working as a GRE tutor since July 2014. After I graduated from Dalian University of Foreign Languages, I became assistant of Vice President – my first job had little to do with English! After working there for one year, I found that I still had the passion to do some work related closely to English. Then, I made my decision to start the new career as a GRE tutor in Beijing.
Many of my students ask me: “Sometimes I know all the words in a sentence but I still cannot understand the sentence 100 percent. How come?” Questions like this made me want to find out the scientific explanation for them. As a result, I went to Nagoya University to pursue a master’s degree in English Education by researching Asian English learners’ performance in real-time sentence processing. Since then, I’ve helped over 100 students achieving their goals in GRE.
When it comes to my personality, I believe I am a persistent and results-driven person. Once I set a goal, I’ll make a plan for it, carry out the plan, and make the grade. Helping students to achieve their goals provides me with enormous gratification. They are not alone on the way to apply for their dream schools. Join me, and together we can make a difference!
