Zachary Sweeney is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep. He graduated from the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving a BS in Economics majoring in Finance and Healthcare Management at the Wharton School, as well as a BA in International Studies with minors in Spanish and Neuroscience from the College of Arts and Sciences. As a scholar in an international dual degree program, his academics have taken him across the world. He hosted a Model UN conference in Lima, Peru, studied abroad in Sevilla Spain, and spent time as an exchange student in Taiwan and Argentina. In the classroom, Zach was chairman of his program’s student government, worked as a student orientation leader, and was an active member of Wharton’s startup incubator program.
Since completing his degree, Zach continues to serve his alma mater as an alumni interviewer and as a member of his dual-degree program’s Alumni Council. He has built two startup companies in both the healthtech and fintech space, and worked at a Fortune 100 bank dealing with matters of finance, credit risk, product design, and business strategy. These diverse experiences have given Zach knowledge in several fields, which he draws upon when working with students.
Zach is passionate about helping students achieve their goals. As a first-generation College graduate, he understands how intimidating the process of applying to college can be, especially without guidance from experienced mentors, coaches, and admissions professionals. He has helped dozens of students successfully navigate the admissions process, with results at top institutions. Zach approaches his coaching with flexibility, creativity, and open-minded amicability, and believes that results can only be achieved with thorough support.
