MA, Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University

BA, International and Global Studies and Anthropology, Brandeis University

Hello, Hola, Ola, Bonjour, Marhaban! My name is Kevin and I am a Former Admissions Officer with InGenius Prep, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

In 2019, I completed my Master of Arts degree in Law & Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University, where I graduated Honos Civicus.  I also earned my Bachelor of Arts degrees in International & Global Studies and Anthropology from Brandeis University; a certificate in Arabic Language from Middlebury College as a Kathryn Davis Fellow for Peace; and a College Counseling certificate with the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA). While pursuing my graduate degree, I assessed hundreds of applications in the Office of Admissions at Tufts and the Fletcher School. I also coordinated and executed admission conversations for prospective students in Canada, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. After graduate school, I have counseled students from all over the world as they move on in their pursuits of higher education with acceptances to esteemed universities such as: MIT, Cornell, the University of Chicago, Brown University, Carnegie Mellon University, McGill University, the University of British Columbia (UBC), the Australian National University, Tufts University, and countless others. Finally, I have also assessed 1000 applications as an Application Reviewer for the University of California - Santa Cruz!

My specialization as a counselor is in working with student-athletes. This specialization stems from my personal experience as a competitive tennis player, with numerous scholarship offers to play tennis in college. Ultimately I chose to have the best academic-athletic balance and focus my studies at Brandeis. While in high school, I trained at the IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida, USA, alongside numerous professional players at the time. As a counselor, my students have either earned athletic scholarships or went on to compete at: Boston University, Brown University, Georgia Tech, New York University, the University of Chicago, and many others. I have always been passionate about mentoring and coaching students, even serving as the Assistant Tennis Coach at Tufts for two seasons where I helped many players navigate the formal student-athlete recruitment process.  Even though I have worked with student-athletes, I enjoy working with a variety of student populations and enjoy tailoring my counseling strategies to each person, as the college admissions process is definitely an individual one! I am confident that every student can succeed if given the right mentor and environment to work in.

In my free time, I love to play tennis, travel, spend time with my dogs and relax by the pool. You can also find me practicing my language skills, as I speak eight!
