Hi there! My name is Kevin, and I am a Bilingual Counselor at InGenius Prep. I graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University with a B.A. in English. Over the past 5 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many high school students and their families from different backgrounds and be a part of their journey of college application. Working with students, whether on early planning or college application work, has also been a self-exploration and learning process for myself, through which I’ve not only found my passion in education but also grown myself to be a more compassionate, creative and self-aware person and educator. I like teaching and guiding students step by step to do the most basics and also enjoying having more intellectually challenged conversations about interest exploration and self reflection. Helping and seeing students learn from the process has always been a rewarding experience and the source of my motivation. Outside of work, I’m a regular gym goer and take much pleasure in reading and being an advocate for paper books. When I am not reading, I’m sometimes on a solo trip to somewhere or re-watching Friends at home.
