Hi! I am a Graduate Counselor with InGenius Prep. I completed my undergraduate degree in English and History at Columbia University. During my time in undergrad, I joined the editing team for the film blog, wrote and produced my own plays, and debated in the Philolexian Society. Next, I completed my Master's in American Literature at Cambridge University. Now, I live in New York City.
As a tutor, teacher, and youth counselor over the years, I have worked with students of all ages and written curricula in reading enrichment, test prep, and essay-writing at a variety of levels. I have collaborated with both international and U.S. students on making sense of college admissions and finding schools they love. The application process is so exciting to me because it’s about marshaling the strengths and unique qualities students already have, and making these qualities shine on an application. There is so much possibility and imagination in this process, and I love helping students find schools where they can thrive.
When I’m not working with students, I love writing fiction, cooking, and playing with my two perpetually forlorn-looking shih tzus. (I say “my” but unfortunately they mostly reside with my parents now.)
